About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Accounts Payable Administrator to support our client's Finance team. This role will be responsible for end-to-end AP processing, project/job costing entries, reconciliations, expense management, and month-end support while ensuring alignment with Canadian GAAP standards.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Process accounts payable transactions and job/project costing entries using QuickBooks or NetSuite
  • Handle filing tasks and perform ad-hoc administrative requests when needed
  • Generate and allocate expense reports, ensuring accurate categorization of expenditures
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
  • Support month-end closing activities and assist in producing financial reports
  • Prepare and monitor vendor accruals and maintain vendor files
  • Uphold accounting principles and ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP in all tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related business/accounting program
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in accounting or AP roles
  • Practical experience with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (Windows environment)
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and accounting cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving team environment supporting North American clients
  • Must be willing to work following North American business hours
