About the role

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer to join the Excello Restaurant Management Group' team in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in our growing organisation, responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services to support our restaurant operations. This is a full-time position that will allow you to leverage your expertise in purchasing and inventory management to drive efficiencies and cost savings across the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the procurement of all materials, supplies, and equipment required for our restaurant operations
  2. Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing and terms for the company
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet business demands
  4. Collaborate with the finance team to process purchase orders, invoices, and payments
  5. Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and implement cost-saving measures
  6. Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, spend analysis, and inventory levels
  7. Stay informed of market trends, pricing, and industry best practices to inform purchasing decisions

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
  2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to ensure the best possible deals for the company
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and purchasing
  4. Proficient in using relevant procurement and inventory management software and tools
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
