Job description

Responsible in ensuring all activities related to purchasing, supply, and importation are conducted efficiently, effectively, and timely.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Shall manage and monitor the efficiency of Importation and Purchasing.
  • Processes sales orders and purchase requests.
  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Identifies and builds the right sources of supply including imports, vendor rating; ensures the supply of right quality at the right time, terms, conditions and price; and to arrange for delivery when and where needed.
  • Prepares comparative reports for approval of quotations, inventory reports and correspondence.
  • Checking and verification of purchase orders for office supplies, equipment, parts, accessories and services.
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with suppliers and develops new supplier/broker links.
  • Responsible for the procurement of machine parts and spares, safety equipment, general consumables, packaging materials, storage and maintaining inventory controls and inventory planning.
  • Analyze the demand for supplies and forecasts future needs.
  • Maintains complete and updated purchasing and logistics records.
  • Monitors all issued purchase orders to suppliers to determine actual status.
  • Operates a computer system that provided logistics support information for accounting functions.
  • Provides status report to the concerned personnel/department for updates of information.
  • Responsible on 100% accuracy of stocks in the Warehouse and other company assets
  • Inspects warehouse facilities periodically to ensure that the company's guidelines on good warehousing and housekeeping practices are observed at all times
  • Responsible to operate at minimum expense by ensuring that all activities are at reasonable cost
  • Review and established control procedures for Purchasing and Logistics department.
  • Ensure completeness of attachments before recommending for check preparation.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
