Import Logistics Coordinator

You'll be the bridge between our warehouse, truckers, customs, and customers — making sure everything arrives on time and in compliance.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Coordinate import shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers
  • Prepare and review import documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin)
  • Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries — both import and local — resolving delays quickly
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate deliveries from warehouse to truckers, working closely with drivers and helpers
  • Prepare inbound/outbound requests and delivery receipts for warehouse and trucking teams
  • Monitor truckers' locations and provide updates from the trucking head
  • Work with customs processors to monitor DEA (import containers)
  • Support warehouse and inventory teams by completing monitoring sheets and inventory reports
  • Track customer purchase orders (POs) against invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Liaise with government agencies for import and logistics requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: At least 2–3 years in logistics, import/export operations, or supply chain coordination
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with customs regulations, import documentation, and government agency processes

  • Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory tracking systems

  • Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset

  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
