About the role

As the Importation Coordinator for Twin Star Pacific Foods Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient importation of goods for this leading food manufacturing company. This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, and will see you working closely with the logistics and procurement teams to streamline the import process.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and process all required necessary permits to the importation of frozen seafoods from various government agencies such as but not limited to the following:
  • Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources
  • Food and Drug Administration
  • Bureau of Customs (BOC)
  • Drive to government offices, inspection sites, or company warehouses to submit documents, attend inspections, or coordinate with officials

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of 2 year vocational course or 4 year College Degree, that is related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an importation or customs clearance role, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Possess a valid driver's license to drive automatic vehicles.
