Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of materials, products, and supplies within the manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely and efficient delivery of goods, proper inventory management, and accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position serves as a key link between production, procurement, and distribution teams to support smooth end-to-end supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics and Distribution Management

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments, delivery scheduling, and transportation arrangements.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain all logistics documents such as delivery receipts, shipping schedules, and import/export records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customs requirements.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and generate regular reports for management.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of logistics systems or automation tools to streamline processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, documentation, and inventory management.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
