Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads for potential clients needing tax advisory, compliance, audit support, and other related services.
- Engage in outreach activities through calls, emails, referrals, networking events, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of their business and tax concerns.
- Present and explain the firm's tax services and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the Tax Advisory, Compliance, and Accounting teams to prepare customized proposals and engagement letters.
- Monitor market trends, tax regulation updates, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipelines using CRM tools.
- Assist in organizing client events, webinars, or educational seminars to boost brand presence.
- Provide input on marketing materials, pitch decks, and social media content aligned with the firm's services.
- Track performance against targets and provide regular reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accountancy, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in business development, client services, or sales—preferably within a professional services or tax-related firm.
- Strong understanding of basic tax principles and services (e.g., tax compliance, audit, transfer pricing, BIR registration).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Experience in a tax consultancy, audit firm, or legal services company.
- Background in dealing with SMEs, corporate clients, or high-net-worth individuals.
- Familiarity with BIR processes and documentation is an advantage.
