Job Brief

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in the Oil and Gas industry. The role involves advanced work in heat transfer and combustion systems, supporting engineering design and analysis projects within a highly technical environment. This position requires sound engineering judgement, practical experience in system design and operation, and a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles as they apply to Oil and Gas infrastructure and equipment. You will contribute to design improvements, evaluate mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead or support mechanical engineering design activities related to heat transfer and combustion systems

Conduct technical analysis, system evaluations, and performance assessments

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across design, procurement, and construction

Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications

Review and interpret client and regulatory requirements for mechanical systems

Contribute to risk assessments, design validations, and technical reporting

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering within the Oil and Gas sector

Strong technical expertise in heat transfer and combustion

Proven ability to interpret and apply engineering standards and codes

Ability to prepare and review detailed technical documents

Software

Nice to have: Inventor 3D

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
