Job Summary

The Operation Manager will oversee daily operations of the Philippines branch, ensuring efficient and compliant business processes while supporting strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include administrative management, cross-department coordination, vendor management, and office operations. The role requires fluency in Mandarin Chinese to facilitate seamless communication with headquarters/China-based teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operational Management

o Manage day-to-day administrative tasks (documentation, meetings, office supplies procurement).

o Develop and optimize SOPs to improve operational efficiency.

o Ensure compliance with local regulations (labor, tax, corporate governance) and company policies.

  1. Cross-functional Coordination

o Act as a liaison between Philippines teams and China HQ, translating requirements when needed.

o Support new hire onboarding and local team training.

  1. Vendor & Resource Management

o Oversee office leases, equipment maintenance, IT support, and local service providers.

o Monitor operational budgets and negotiate cost-effective contracts.

  1. Compliance & Risk Control

o Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws, business licensing, and reporting requirements.

o Address operational emergencies (e.g., government audits, system failures).

  1. Administrative Support

o Manage company records, seals, and confidential documents.

o Organize employee events, business trips, and client visits.

Requirements

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience:

· 5+ years in operations/administration, preferably in multinational or Philippine local companies.

· Experience working with Chinese-speaking teams is a must.

Skills & Competencies:

· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written & spoken) for HQ communication.

· Proficiency in Office Suite and ERP/OA systems.

· Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

· Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and corporate compliance.
