Job Title: Virtual Assistant – ShopifyAbout the Role:

We're looking for a Virtual Assistant – Shopify to support the Product Team in setting up and managing Shopify test environments. This role focuses on configuring Shopify accounts for testing use cases — no website design or front-end development is required.

You'll help ensure that new features and enhancements for our integrations are tested in realistic scenarios by setting up products, multicurrency, orders, taxes, and duties within Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Account Setup:

  • Configure new Shopify stores for internal testing purposes.
  • Ensure store settings are properly configured for various test environments (e.g., different regions, currencies, or business types).

Product Creation:

  • Create a range of products in Shopify to simulate real business use cases (e.g., variations, SKUs, inventory tracking).
  • Configure product pricing, inventory, and categories to match test scenarios.

Order Creation & Use Cases:

  • Generate test orders in Shopify to reflect different sales workflows (e.g., online sales, refunds, partial payments).
  • Replicate customer order journeys to test integration accuracy between Shopify and accounting platforms.

Tax Configuration:

  • Set up and adjust tax rules in Shopify to reflect regional requirements (e.g., GST, VAT, sales tax).
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure tax settings align with integration logic and compliance standards.

Duties & Import Fees Setup:

  • Configure duties and import tax settings within Shopify.
  • Create use cases for cross-border transactions to test duty-related features.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must have extensive experience using Shopify Admin (store settings, product, and order management).
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce operations and tax setup.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Medium to high level of understanding of Shopify integrations with accounting systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed setup documentation.
  • Familiarity with sales tax and duties concepts across different regions (particularly US, UK and Canada).
  • Basic knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks Online integrations (nice to have)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
