Job Summary
The HR Supervisor oversees day-to-day HR operations within the property and ensures that all HR practices comply with hospitality industry standards and labor regulations. The role supports recruitment, employee engagement, timekeeping, payroll, training, and policy enforcement. With a hospitality background, the HR Supervisor ensures that HR programs and practices are aligned with service excellence, guest experience priorities, and workforce demands typical of hotels and resorts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment for line and supervisory positions, ensuring cultural and service fit.
- Partner with department heads to fill seasonal, peak, and operational manpower needs.
- Conduct orientations tailored to hospitality service culture and guest standards.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee concerns promptly to maintain workplace harmony.
- Support hospitality-driven engagement activities (service awards, themed staff events).
- Reinforce company culture of Filipino hospitality and guest-centric service.
Timekeeping, Payroll & Benefits
- Supervise attendance, shift rotations, and OT approvals aligned with property schedules.
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs for varying hospitality shifts (split shifts, night differentials).
- Monitor distribution of service charge, tips, and benefits fairly.
Training & Development
- Coordinate service training (guest handling, grooming standards, brand culture).
- Track mandatory hospitality compliance training (safety, ISO, DOLE, DOT).
- Support cross-training programs to increase staff flexibility across departments.
HR Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with DOLE, DOH, and DOT labor and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain complete 201 files, updated contracts, and employment records.
- Support ISO, brand audits, and corporate HR compliance checks.
Performance Management & Discipline
- Monitor probationary evaluations and KPI reviews in line with hospitality standards.
- Guide supervisors in providing feedback that impacts guest service quality.
- Administer disciplinary procedures fairly and document properly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in hospitality (hotel/resort).
- Familiarity with service charge handling, shift scheduling, and hospitality workforce dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and hotel industry HR standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with guest-service mindset.
- Organizational skills suited for multi-shift hospitality environments.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Excellent communication and people-handling skills.
Ability to balance employee needs with guest experience priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
