What You'll Do:

The HR Generalist, with a primary focus on Employee Relations (ER), is responsible for promoting a positive and productive work environment by managing employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and performance issues. This role acts as a key HR point of contact for employees and management, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and strict adherence to the Philippine Labor Code.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Employee Relations & Case Management

a. Disciplinary Process: Conduct investigations into employee misconduct, prepare Notice to Explain (NTE), Notice of Decision (NOD), and manage the full spectrum of the due process requirement under the Labor Code.

b. Grievance Handling: Serve as the primary point of contact for handling employee concerns, grievances, and disputes, working to resolve issues impartially and swiftly to minimize risk and maintain morale.

c. Performance Management: Partner with Operations/Team Leaders to address underperformance, prepare Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and manage termination processes related to performance gaps.

d. Exit Management: Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback on employee attrition and identify trends or systemic issues requiring intervention.

II. Policy and Legal Compliance

a. Policy Implementation: Interpret, communicate, and ensure the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook across all BPO accounts and shifts.

b. Labor Law Advisory: Provide informed guidance to managers and supervisors on labor relations issues, Philippine legal compliance (e.g., security of tenure, just and authorized causes for termination), and disciplinary best practices.

c. Documentation: Maintain meticulously accurate and secure records of all ER cases, disciplinary actions, and investigations.

III. General HR Support

a. Employee Engagement: Support the HR team in implementing employee engagement activities and communication programs designed to enhance satisfaction and retention, particularly in high-volume production areas.

b. Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist in the orientation of new hires, focusing on the company code of conduct and HR policies.

c. Administrative Tasks: Support the maintenance of 201 files and employee records, ensuring compliance and data privacy.

d. Sourcing & Screening: Support the recruitment team by sourcing, screening, and profiling candidates for high-volume roles (e.g., call center agents, support staff).

e. Other related HR tasks and facets that may be assigned to you

Who are we looking for:


• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law, or a related field.


• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience, with demonstrated practical experience in Employee Relations, Disciplinary Case Management, and Recruitment Administration, preferably within the BPO or high-volume service industry.


• Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge and practical application experience of the Philippine Labor Code (DOLE), particularly concerning due process and terminations.


• Skills:

o Proven ability to manage confidential information and exercise sound, impartial judgment.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for drafting formal HR notices and engaging with high-volume candidates.

o Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
