Overview
Social Media Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining a strong online presence, engaging with the target audience, and promoting brand awareness and growth through social media platforms. S/he is responsible for overseeing a company's interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms' content strategies. His/her duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive omni channel social media strategy that aligns with organizational goals and drives brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Content Creation: Create compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements.
Copywriting: Produces and strategizes for contents focused on convincing the reader. Writes a clear and compelling copy of various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters)
Moments Marketing Content: Use social listening to jump on anticipated and trending moments to increase reach and discoverability.
Platform Management: Manage and optimize social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as relevant.
Audience Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
Community Building: Build and nurture an active and engaged online community of brand advocates and loyal customers.
Omni Channel Integration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience across all touchpoints.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve strategies.
Campaigns and Promotions: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to boost engagement and sales.
Social Listening: Observe social media conversations, trends, and user feedback to gather insights and identify potential opportunities or issues.
Crisis Management: Be prepared to address and manage potential social media crises promptly and professionally.
13. Media Buying: Manage media budgets effectively and allocate resources for maximum ROI. Conduct audience targeting and segmentation for ad campaigns. Analyze ad performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results.
Platform Management: To handle the following marketing platforms – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, Threads, Twitter (X), etc.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience in social media management, with a track record of successful omni channel strategies.
· In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices.
· Excellent communication and writing skills with a flair for creativity.
· Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
· Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
· Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Crisis management experience is advantageous.
· Ability to adapt quickly to changing trends and technologies.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing software.
· Familiarity with branding and design principles is a plus.
· Ability to multi-task and manage requests on a timely manner.
