Primary Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial Management
- Process and manage accounts payable (AP), ensuring invoices are received, verified, and recorded accurately.
- Monitor invoice approvals, payment schedules, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate AP data and reports.
Administrative Support & Data Management
- Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents using Dropbox and Microsoft Office.
- Perform accurate data entry and updates in accounting systems such as Yardi and QuickBooks.
- Assist in preparing financial documents, reports, and other administrative requirements.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, and filing.
Vendor & Property Management Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, payment follow-ups, and service coordination.
- Track and manage property-related invoices, expenses, and tenant records.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and property expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Accounting and Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (or similar platforms).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management tools (e.g., Dropbox).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle vendor negotiations professionally.
- Must be amenable to work at night
- Must be comfortable working with timetrackers
- Must have own working equipment (computer: atleast i5 and 8GB Ram, webcamera, and noise cancelling headset)
