Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – CMS & Digital Platforms

Location: Remote (Philippines) CENTRAL LUZON, NCR

Schedule: Full-time, EST hours

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Compensation: PHP 80,000 – 100,000 per month (based on experience)

Team: U.S.-based Enterprise Digital Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with hands-on experience in Content Management Systems—preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)—and digital service request workflows. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and user experience of enterprise digital platforms, including CMS-driven websites and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, execute test cases, identify defects, and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for CMS-driven websites and digital service request processes.
  • Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for clarity and testability.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web applications and workflows.
  • Log, track, and validate defects with detailed replication steps using tools such as JIRA.
  • Conduct exploratory testing across browsers and devices to identify UX or usability issues.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, providing QA insights on scalability, performance, and risks.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, designers, and project managers to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manual and/or automated QA testing for web or digital platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or any CMS.
  • Understanding of digital service request workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as JIRA.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Performance testing experience (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessibility testing techniques.
