Main Responsibilities of Quality Assurance

  • Develop and Implement Quality Standards
  • Create and maintain quality policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Define the quality metrics or benchmarks to be followed.
  • Conduct Quality Audits and Inspections
  • Regularly inspect processes, products, or services to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify defects, errors, or non-conformities and report them for correction.
  • Testing and Verification
  • Test products, systems, or outputs to ensure they function as intended.
  • Verify that all specifications and requirements are met before release.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports summarizing quality findings and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce recurring issues.
