Job Description:

  • Proceed to site of inspection and conducts physical inspection of damaged vehicle if evaluation based on pictures is not possible. Inspects damaged vehicle and prepares Evaluation Reports related to the circumstances of loss and explain to claimant the scope of work to be done.
  • Render evaluation reports and recommends approval to immediate superior.
  • Discuss and negotiate the amount of evaluation to the repair shop.
  • Determine and recommend whether a vehicle should be declared a constructive total loss.
  • Approves evaluation reports routed by the Sr. Claims Assistant within authority limit and recommends approval to immediate superior in excess of claims authority
  • Monitors quality of repairs performed by repair shops and ensures that agreed repair procedures are followed.
  • Monitors the retrieval of salvage parts from repair shops and recommends disposal.
  • Arranges the disposal of the Total loss vehicles and recommends Salvage value.
  • Assist walk-in claimant to inspect the damaged vehicle.
  • Facilitate supply of spare parts, if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4 year course
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in evaluation motor claims.
  • With good moral character and written communication skills
  • Has an analytical ability and proficient in Microsoft functions
  • Must be hard working, willing to be trained.
