Job Summary

The Warehouseman is tasked by the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Team Leader to engage in the storage, movement and/or transfer activities of stocks inside the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Packer

  1. Packs all items prepared and checked into the box:

  2. Practices proper handling of the items being packed, in reference to the Good Distribution and Storage Practice (GDSP) standards:

a. Contents must be equally distributed inside the box, and tablets are placed on top,

b. Tablets are protected by placing them inside a smaller box,

c. Bottles are placed at the bottom of the box,

d. Items are packed separately in accordance with their classification: galenicals and cosmetics, medicines, cotton products, dairy and food, and hazardous products, and

e. If there are gaps, place packaging fillers such as shredded pieces of clean used boxes to secure the products;

  1. Ensures all items in the counter table are complete and checked before packing;

  2. Accountable on the correctness of packed items by clearly writing the name of the customer, number of boxes, the route number and the code on the top part of the boxes;

  3. Packs as many as prepared and checked stocks in a reasonable time prescribed by the Assistant Operations Manager (AOM);

  4. Completely fills out the Daily Production Output (DPO);

  5. Provides assistance to the Palletizer when the need arises;

  6. Ensures safety procedures are followed in accordance with GDSP;

  7. Ensures the full understanding of GDSP Principle and practiced at work area;

Others

Supports the Senior Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor and Operations Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services;

Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, quality management, and in the Employee's Handbook; and

Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor & Operations Manager.

Educational Requirements

At least High School Graduate

Has experience working in a distribution company
