Job Summary
The HR and Admin Assistant will provide support in various human resources functions such as recruitment, employee onboarding, government benefits registration, and compliance with labor laws. This role also handles day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves
- Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
- Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
- Entering employee data into a computer database
- Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Overseeing HR events and meetings, and coordinating management-employee communications
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- With at least three (3) years of relevant employment experience - onboarding, and end-to-end processing of employment requirements
- Knowledge of government statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) processes
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and DOLE compliance
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HR-related systems/tools
