Identifying and driving strategic partnerships

Providing deep sales expertise to our partners and supporting their growth

The Manager, Small Business Segment, based in Manila, Philippines, will be part of the Commercial and New Payments Flow team responsible for advancing Mastercard's small business efforts in Southeast Asia. The role reports to the Vice President, Small Business Segment lead, SEA division.

The individual will support small business prepaid, debit, and credit card performance, including strategy development, product management, analysis, reporting, and sharing best practices. This role will serve as the main contact for SME business development and sales to internal and external partners. The individual will collaborate with the Regional

Small Business organization to achieve GDV, new customer acquisition, market share, and revenue objectives for the market. RoleThe primary objectives are to drive growth of the Small Business prepaid, debit, and credit card portfolios and meet targets related to new acquisitions, spend volumes, revenue, and market share through activities such as:Developing strategies and recommending new features and benefits to enhance sales and optimize existing and prospective bank, 3rd party, fintech, and startup partnerships to drive growth.

Collaborating with various stakeholders across departments and partners to support launches and market initiatives. Providing consultative sales enablement during complex discussions, leveraging Mastercard's assets. Monitoring industry trends and competitive products to adapt strategies accordingly.

Championing digital enablement (e.g., contactless, tokenization) and driving customer adoption. Communicating new products, services, and platform enhancements to stakeholders and customers through various channels. All

About YouYou should have:Strong product development and management skills with a proven track record. Relevant industry experience, such as in payments, cards, financial services, fintech, or startups. Experience in initiating new business approaches and achieving results.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong research, analytical, and technical skills. Self-motivation and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

Skill in management reporting and data-driven insights. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Organizational savvy to navigate a matrixed organization and resilience in a high-pressure environment.
