Administrative Assistant for Business Development

Job Summary:
This position mainly entails performing routine clerical and administrative functions as directed by the immediate superior. These include data/reports encoding, reformatting, drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives telephone calls and provides information to callers, takes messages in the absence of the superior.
- Operates office equipment such as printers, scanners, copiers, and desktop computers for word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Encode data and documents, as assigned by the members and consultants.
- Maintains proper filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materials in the assigned department.
- Organizes and facilitates special events, and set up virtual meetings using audio and video conferencing via Zoom, MS Teams, and other meeting tools.
- Prepares cover of prequalification documents and project proposals using editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).
- Performs miscellaneous duties and tasks deemed relevant by the immediate superior(s) from time to time.
Job Specifications:
The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications: at least a year of experience, preferably a holder of a Bachelor's Degree in any course from a reputable university, knowledgeable in linking table of contents and figures using MS Word, ability to handle and maintain records, has good speed and accuracy in data encoding, can establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and superiors, can communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, preferable Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
