The Tax Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the management of the tax compliance functions. He/She will act as the key point of contact and support for local and national taxation matters.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS:
1. TAX COMPLIANCE
· Review the BIR returns of the company and its subsidiaries.
· Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax returns.
· Check if the company and its subsidiaries comply with the basic tax requirements of both local and national governments.
2. TAX AUDITS (BIR and LGU)
· Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the group.
· Prepare and compile documentary requirements of tax authorities.
· Analyze, provide, and suggest possible ways of minimizing the tax assessment.
3. TAX RESEARCH AND PLANNING
· Monitor new tax developments and advise other professionals
· Research and develop new tax-saving strategies.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSES REQUIRED:
· BS Accountancy
· With a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting work experience
· CPA License is required
