Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations with a strong focus on tax compliance and financial accounting. This role ensures accurate reporting, timely filing of taxes, and adherence to regulatory requirements while supervising junior accounting staff and supporting management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Monitor and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Assist in audits, both internal and external, by preparing required documentation and reports.
  • Guide and train accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain effective accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agencies, and other regulatory bodies as required.
  • Prepare management reports and provide insights on financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of solid experience in tax compliance and financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
