Job Responsibilities :

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with accounting standards.

Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support strategic business decisions.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Maintain compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and statutory reporting requirements.

Coordinate and support both internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to audit standards.

Implement and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to strengthen financial governance.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for cost control, efficiency, and profitability improvement.

Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring proper workload distribution and skill development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, HR, procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment of financial practices with business objectives.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license or equivalent certification preferred).

  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (IFRS/GAAP).

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Strong background in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and reconciliations.

  • Experience in managing audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven ability to guide junior staff.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
