We don't seek to be the biggest, just the best.Main duties/responsibilitiesThe primary purpose of this role is to provide mapping/GIS support to all aspects of the client's Transactionsand Valuation teams, including the production of high-quality maps. For the majority, these high-quality maps will form part of marketing collateral for selling of agribusiness properties throughout Australia.Key Responsibilities:Utilising MapInfo Professional and Google Earth software to set-up, digitise, and export spatial data in preparation for map creation and analysis.Utilising Adobe Illustrator to create and export high fidelity maps to be used as part of Information Memorandums, submissions, brochures, and advertisement.Collect and organise information to create and maintain spatial databases.Perform research, offer educated opinions base on your report, survey land to map for accurate three dimensional information and assist with project management and technical writing.Update relevant documentation with direction.Changing, updating, and revising of existing maps with new information or making correctionsAssist team members with any GIS related queries.Experience:Experience using Adobe Illustrator, MapInfo Professional and Google EarthExperience using GIS software such as MapInfo Professional, QGIS, or ArcGIS Desktop & OnlineExperience using Avenza's MAPublisher plugin for Adobe IllustratorPreferred that the candidate has past work experience in the GIS sector, property sector, spatial analysis or network planning, graphic design or an allied field.Required Knowledge & Skills:Strong analytical mind and ability to learn and develop new skills and techniques specific to GIS and the mapping function.A broad understanding of the locations of key agribusiness property markets throughout Australia.Demonstrated knowledge of cartographic principles and techniques.Demonstrated understanding of GIS administrative practices, and coordinate systems as well as knowledge and experience in GIS data creation.Knowledge of demographic and spatial data sources across Australia and the ability to calibrate and cross check data, using your interpretive skills to spot inconsistencies in information and views.A high degree of computer literacy.The ability to think logically and creatively and to be able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written mediums.The capability to meet project deadlines and to prioritise appropriatelyHave a keen eye for detail with the dedication to always produce the best possible result.Can work independently or as part of a teamWork Schedule (Dayshift)Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)Work Setup (WFH)Permanent HomebasedEquipment will be provided by the companyCandidates are required to have a stable/reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download and upload speed.By clicking on the "I'm Interested" button I hereby allow Outsourced Quality Assured Services, Inc.
