We're growing quickly and looking for a Part-Time Junior Financial Analyst / Accountant who can support our finance operations under U.S. accounting standards (GAAP). This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to expand their experience working with a U.S. company while developing their skills in financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis.

About the Role
As a Junior Financial Analyst / Accountant, you'll work closely with our Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and support key business decisions through data-driven insights.
You'll manage bookkeeping and financial reporting in QuickBooks Online, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and ensure that our financial processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with U.S. GAAP.
This is a remote, part-time contractor position, ideal for someone detail-oriented and motivated to grow within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support monthly closing activities: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized QuickBooks Online records for all transactions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, payment processors (Stripe), and related accounts.
  • Prepare and update management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, expense summaries).
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business planning.
  • Conduct business performance analysis and variance reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting controls.
  • Collaborate with external accounting partners and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP principles (mandatory).
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or business analysis.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, models).
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English communication (written and verbal).
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with a U.S.-based team.
