About the role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Hot Meals Chef to join our dynamic team at Sugureta Ventures Inc. As a Hot Meals Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious and nutritious hot meals for our guests. This is a full-time position based in our Makati City, Metro Manila location.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and cook a range of hot meals, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  2. Develop and implement new menu items, incorporating feedback and trends
  3. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
  4. Collaborate with the wider catering team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests
  5. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
  6. Provide mentorship and training to junior kitchen staff
  7. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen

What we're looking for

  1. With experience working as a Hot Meals Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry
  2. Formal culinary training or certification, such as a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts
  3. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
  4. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
  5. Creativity and passion for developing new and innovative menu items
  6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals
