Job Title: Transport and Fleet Supervisor

Department: Logistics

Location: Pasig Facility

Job Summary:

The Transport and Fleet Supervisor oversees the daily dispatch, movement, and maintenance of all company delivery vehicles. The position ensures efficient route planning, timely deliveries, cost control, and proper coordination between the warehouse, sales, and customers. The role also monitors driver and helper performance, vehicle condition, and compliance with safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery and Dispatch Operations

  • Plan and schedule daily delivery routes based on customer orders and truck availability.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse for loading and dispatch readiness.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and properly documented (DRs, trip tickets, etc.).
  • Monitor truck movements and delivery status throughout the day.
  • Handle any issues encountered on the road (delays, breakdowns, route changes, etc.).

2. Fleet Management

  • Monitor the condition of all trucks and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, and parts replacement.
  • Maintain vehicle records, including registration, insurance, and maintenance logs.
  • Track fuel consumption, mileage, and performance efficiency per vehicle.
  • Recommend replacement or major repair when necessary.

3. Personnel Supervision

  • Supervise drivers and helpers; assign trips and duties fairly and efficiently.
  • Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of transport personnel.
  • Conduct regular toolbox or safety meetings with drivers and helpers.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to improve punctuality, safety, and productivity.

4. Coordination and Reporting

  • Work closely with sales and logistics teams for scheduling, route adjustments, and customer priorities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of delivery records, trip tickets, and maintenance logs.
  • Submit daily and weekly reports on truck utilization, fuel usage, and delivery performance.
  • Report any incidents, violations, or accidents immediately to management.

5. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with LTO and company policies.
  • Implement safe driving and load handling procedures.
  • Conduct random vehicle inspections to check cleanliness, load security, and safety equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in transport or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of route planning, dispatching, and fleet maintenance.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel or other logistics tracking systems.
  • Must be organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
