About the role

Good Pastry Café', a thriving bakery and café in the bustling heart of BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our exceptional products and services to our loyal customers. This full-time position will be responsible for managing and optimising our operations, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of café operations, including inventory management, food preparation, customer service, and staff scheduling
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity and profitability
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective actions
  • Manage and lead a team of dedicated café staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive and customer-centric culture within the café

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar operations management role, preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of operational best practices, inventory management, and cost control procedures
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
