About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Associate to join our team at Good Pastry Café' in BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila. This full-time position will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management processes to support the efficient operation of our busy cafe.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the purchasing of all raw materials, ingredients, and supplies required for cafe operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure adequate stock is maintained
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Maintain detailed records of all purchases and inventory
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to forecast future needs
  • Identify opportunities to optimise purchasing and inventory processes
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budgets

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the food service industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail to maintain accurate records
  • Proficient in using inventory management and procurement software
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
