About the role

Good Pastry Café' is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance professional to join our team in BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our café's facilities and equipment. As the General Maintenance, you will play a crucial part in providing a comfortable and well-maintained environment for our customers and staff.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform general maintenance and repairs on the café's equipment, fixtures and facilities
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address any issues proactively
  3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve problems in a timely manner
  4. Collaborate with the café management to implement improvements and upgrades to the facility
  5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenditures
  6. Ensure the café's safety and compliance with all relevant regulations
  7. Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a similar general maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues
  3. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and basic equipment repair
  4. Good working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
  5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  7. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
