We are seeking a strategic and hands-on
Plant HR Manager
to lead all human resources initiatives at our manufacturing facility. This role is a critical business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, driving alignment between HR strategy and plant performance goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong business acumen, capable of building organizational capability, leading change, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership:
Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive operational performance and employee engagement. - Workforce Planning & Talent Management:
Lead workforce planning efforts, oversee talent acquisition, and ensure robust succession planning and talent development. - Employee Relations & Engagement:
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and proactive employee engagement strategies. - Performance Management:
Drive performance culture through coaching, feedback, and performance development processes. - Change Management:
Lead HR aspects of organizational change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and workforce alignment. - Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies; proactively mitigate risk and ensure HR best practices. - HR Operations & Metrics:
Oversee HR processes including onboarding, training, compensation, and benefits administration. Use data to drive decisions and track HR performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Proven experience as a strategic business partner to operational leadership
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence, coach, and drive change in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making
