The Plant and Equipment Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of all plant machinery, vehicles, and equipment. The role ensures that all equipment is serviced, maintained, and utilized safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Management

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of plant and equipment across projects or sites.
  • Monitor equipment utilization to ensure optimal deployment and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee equipment allocation, transfers, and returns between sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, hours of operation, and service schedules.

2. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Supervise in-house mechanics, technicians, and external service providers.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are completed promptly and to the required standard.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safe operating procedures for all plant and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure operators are trained, certified, and competent to operate machinery.
  • Investigate and report on equipment-related incidents or failures.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparing maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Monitor equipment-related expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Recommend replacement, refurbishment, or disposal of obsolete or uneconomical equipment.

5. Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor plant operators, mechanics, and other technical staff.
  • Coordinate with site managers, procurement, and logistics for timely equipment delivery and servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with company asset management policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php80,000.00 per month
