Job Summary
The Training and Engagement Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies that enhance workforce capability, performance, and retention. The role integrates learning and development, talent management, and employee engagement to ensure that people, processes, and performance directly contribute to Klaiya's business growth and operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in aligning talent initiatives with organizational goals, driving continuous learning, and nurturing a culture that supports professional growth and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Learning and Capability Development
- Design, develop, and deliver targeted employee training programs addressing both immediate skills gaps and long-term capability needs.
- Conduct skills gap analyses and identify learning priorities aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Align all training programs with organizational goals to ensure relevance and measurable impact on performance.
- Manage training calendars, training material development, and post-training evaluations to assess effectiveness.
- Support onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Performance Management
- Manage and maintain the performance management system, ensuring alignment between individual, team, and organizational goals.
- Guide leaders and employees in setting measurable goals, conducting performance reviews, and tracking progress on KPIs and OKRs.
- Provide structure and accountability to performance discussions and documentation processes.
Talent Management and Retention
- Develop and implement talent management strategies that support succession planning and leadership readiness.
- Design and execute employee retention initiatives that focus on career growth, recognition, and engagement.
- Partner with HR and department heads to identify high-potential employees and design development pathways.
Employee Engagement and Culture Building
- Lead engagement programs that promote motivation, collaboration, and inclusivity across teams.
- Plan and organize company-wide activities that reinforce organizational culture and strengthen team cohesion.
- Facilitate open communication channels to ensure employees feel valued, heard, and connected to company goals.
- Act as a culture champion by promoting Klaiya's values and creating initiatives that enhance workplace satisfaction.
Job Relationships
- Reports to: HR Manager, Executive Director, and Chief Technology Officer
- Coordinates with: Department Heads, Core Leadership Team,, and HR Team
- Collaborates with: All employees to assess training needs, provide guidance, and facilitate learning interventions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in Learning and Development, and Talent Management preferably in an e-commerce or fast-paced business environment.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing learning strategies, performance management systems, and employee engagement programs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, competency frameworks, and performance management methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable learning strategies.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- High emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and a people-centered approach to organizational development.
- Proficiency in using digital collaboration tools (Lark, Google Workspace, and related HR systems).
