Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Privacy and AI Governance Manager. The role is primarily based in Quezon City but allows for some work-from-home flexibility. As a Privacy and AI Governance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing privacy compliance, developing and implementing AI governance frameworks, conducting privacy impact assessments, managing data protection policies, and ensuring the company's AI systems adhere to ethical guidelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy and AI governance into business processes and support decision-making with data insights.

Qualifications

  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the organization's policies, procedures, and programs on privacy, data protection, and AI Governance
  • Issue advisory opinions interpreting laws and regulations on privacy, data protection, and use of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence
  • Conduct privacy audits on the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs
  • Develop and implement an organization-wide capacity building initiatives on privacy-related competencies, all in line with the trust by design strategy
  • Perform other duties that naturally fall under the group's role, or as may be assigned by the DPO
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, IT, or a related field
  • Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, CIPT, ISO and AI governance or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, Responsible AI short courses) are a plus
  • Familiarity with global privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, Philippine DPA, CCPA) and emerging AI regulatory approaches
  • 5+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection operations, risk assessments, or governance-related roles
