Primary Objective

The AI Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and operationalizing intelligent systems that leverage both traditional machine learning and cutting-edge large language models (LLMs). This includes building and maintaining scalable AI solutions such as predictive models, conversational agents, and autonomous data agents that empower business units to interact with data and systems more intuitively. The engineer ensures these capabilities are secure, interpretable, and aligned with business goals, contributing directly to the company's mission of democratizing AI across departments through modular, reusable, and user-friendly frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions across the organization, including ML models, LLM-powered applications, and autonomous data agents.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable AI systems in production environments, ensuring robustness, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into AI opportunities, driving measurable impact.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and data platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow.
• Champion MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, versioning, and automated retraining.
• Uphold responsible AI principles, ensuring ethical use, data privacy, and compliance with governance standards.
• Document system architectures, workflows, and decision rationales to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile ceremonies, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages used in AI and data science.
• Deep experience with cloud platforms; hands-on expertise with
  Microsoft Azure
  and services like
  Azure OpenAI
  ,
  Azure ML
  , and
  Microsoft Fabric
  is highly preferred.
• Strong background in data engineering, including preprocessing, transformation, and integration across structured and unstructured sources.
• Proven experience with NLP and LLMs for tasks such as text generation, summarization, and conversational AI.
• Expertise in MLOps practices, including CI/CD, model lifecycle management, and observability.
• Solid understanding of scalable system design, microservices, and agile/lean architecture principles.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical AI, data privacy, and responsible AI usage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in agile environments, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging AI technologies and trends.
