JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Analyst is tasked with creating tests to detect software issues pre-launch, identifying and analyzing bugs, documenting findings, developing and running tests, reporting results, and collaborating with developers to resolve program issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review and analyze system specification.
  2. Create clear and concise test cases for test execution.
  3. Conduct various testing type such as Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing and/or User's Acceptance Testing
  4. Report bugs in the bug tracking tool.
  5. Assist the development team in investigating the reported bugs.
  6. Provide feedback and recommendations to the development team with regards to software usability and functionality.
  7. Work with cross-functional team to ensure quality throughout the software development process.
  8. Create a test report to summarize testing phases and defects.
  9. Any other task deemed relevant by management.

JOB COMPETENCIES/SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Software Testing
  2. Experience with Project Management and Bug Tracking tools
  3. Basic knowledge in writing SQL queries
  4. Experience with Test Case Management Tool
  5. Experience with Agile Development process (Scrum or similar)
  6. Experience in API Testing is a plus.
  7. Experience in Test Automation is a plus.
  8. Solid understanding of Software Development process, analysis and design, coding, system and user testing
  9. Strong analytical skills.
