The Role

We're hiring a Growth Associate who wants to be right at the intersection of marketing and media.

You will craft and distribute the content that fuels BackScoop's expansion such as newsletters, social campaigns, and more while running high-impact outreach and creative growth initiatives to create tangible audience growth.

This isn't a back-office writing job. Everyone at BackScoop is a creator.

What You'll Do

  • Write and edit engaging content for newsletters and social channels.
  • Conceive and execute growth initiatives that expand reach and strengthen community.
  • Carry out high-touch outreach for interviews and other BackScoop initiatives.
  • Support campaigns and events from pre-launch buzz to follow-up content.
  • Track key growth indicators and share insights with the team.

  • Independent and organized. You spot opportunities, move fast, and manage multiple campaigns with precision.
  • Resilient and gritty. You don't shy away from the unglamorous tasks like consistent 1:1 outreach that make growth happen.
  • Interest in Southeast Asian business. You want to showcase and share the stories shaping the region's business landscape.
  • Community-first. You keep the audience in mind, engage directly, and anticipate their needs.
