Profile Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in social media strategy execution and content creation.
  • Experience in Canva and basic video editing tools like CapCut or similar.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles is preferred.

Core responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Design visually engaging posts using Canva, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Edit short-form video content and reels using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar.
  • Assist with content scheduling and publishing via our social media dashboard (e.g., Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
  • Write clear and engaging captions, incorporating relevant hashtags and brand tone.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and escalate where necessary.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with insights on content reach and engagement.
  • Conduct research into current trends, hashtags, and content ideas for Aquila and client brands.
  • Support project coordination including timelines, client communication, and status updates.
  • Assist with client onboarding and maintain well-organised brand asset folders.
  • Manage internal documentation, shared drives, SOPs, and workflow tracking.
  • Provide general administrative assistance including meeting notes, email support, and calendar management.

  • Assist with SEO-related processes (non-technical and easy-to-follow).
  • Support proposal preparation, invoicing, and quotes, mostly administrative and straightforward tasks that may be handled over time as familiarity grows.
