About Us:

We are a professional home addition and remodeling contractor serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. We specialize in building and transforming homes, and we want to showcase our expertise to more homeowners online. We are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who can independently lead our digital presence, design high-quality content, and create strategies that connect us with more people in our target markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a full social media strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals.
  • Independently manage and grow accounts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Google Business Profile.
  • Design and produce engaging, high-quality content (posts, reels, short videos, graphics, case studies, before/after visuals).
  • Generate fresh ideas for campaigns and content that showcase our remodeling projects and attract local homeowners.
  • Research industry trends and competitors to stay ahead and recommend new approaches.
  • Oversee community engagement: respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance metrics with actionable insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate directly with the owner/leadership team, offering creative ideas on how to reach and connect with more homeowners.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in construction, real estate, or home improvement industries.
  • Strong design talent with expertise in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Excellent content creation skills (visual design + written captions).
  • Ability to create engaging short-form videos/reels (basic editing skills required).
  • Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and growth strategies.
  • Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and capable of running campaigns with minimal supervision.
