Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our social media initiatives align with overall marketing goals. This position is ideal for a creative thinker with a strong background in public relations and social media management.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Management
  • Develop and implement social media strategies across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Research market trends and audience behavior to guide content.
  • Create and schedule engaging content to grow brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering a positive community around the brand.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, technology, and public relations to ensure our strategies remain relevant and effective.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth within the digital landscape.
  • Monitor and engage with followers to build community.
  • Content Creation & Design
  • Create high-quality graphics, short-form videos, and presentations using Canva, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  • Repurpose content across multiple platforms for maximum reach.
  • Collaborate with leadership on campaign messaging and creative direction.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze performance metrics for each platform.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Client Relationship & Lead Nurturing
  • Use social media to identify and engage with potential leads.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to digital communication.
  • Support client interactions (mainly via digital channels).
  • Represent the brand with professional written and spoken English.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management preferably in senior positions and big companies.
  • Strong expertise with LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Proven track record of growing social channels and generating leads.
  • Strong content creation and design skills (Canva, PowerPoint, short-form video editing).
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication.
  • Ability to work Australian Eastern Time hours.

Nice-to-Have (not mandatory):

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress website to create page, upload etc
  • email marketing on CRM systems (Zoho, .).
  • Prior experience in a B2B/professional services context.
