Job Summary

Topnet Inc. (Ovente) is looking for a highly skilled API/EDI Vendor Central Specialist to manage, support, and optimize electronic data interchange (EDI) and API integrations between our internal systems and external trading partners such as Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart, and other major marketplaces.You will play a key role in ensuring seamless and accurate data flow across purchase orders, invoices, inventory updates, and shipping notifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EDI/API integrations with Vendor Central platforms and ERP/eCommerce systems.
  • Coordinate data mapping, testing, and troubleshooting between internal systems and external partners.
  • Monitor data transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with trading partner requirement

Vendor Central Operations

  • Manage EDI transactions for Amazon Vendor Central (POs, ASNs, invoices, chargebacks, etc.).
  • Work closely with the supply chain, operations, and finance teams to resolve order and invoice discrepancies.
  • Monitor Vendor Central scorecards and ensure compliance with routing and packaging guidelines.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve EDI/API transmission errors and connection issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to ensure data synchronization and uptime.
  • Maintain documentation for all integration processes and data mappings.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual data processes through API/EDI solutions.
  • Ensure all integrations follow best practices for security, scalability, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience with EDI/API integrations, preferably in eCommerce, supply chain, or retail environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS).
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart DSV, or similar vendor portals.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, D365) and integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo, etc.).
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML data formats.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central EDI message types (850, 855, 856, 810, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Power BI or Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Experience working with third-party integration vendors (e.g., SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or Apps4Rent).
