Overview

We are hiring two Senior Python Developers to support an active client project. You will focus on API development, integration, and workflow automation. The role requires advanced backend engineering experience and the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain REST API endpoints using FastAPI.
  • Implement request/response handling, error management, and authentication.
  • Integrate and manage third-party REST APIs, including OAuth and API key–based authentication.
  • Handle rate limits, retries, and versioning for external APIs.
  • Work with workflow orchestration tools (preferably Temporal, or similar such as Airflow or Prefect).
  • Develop workflow activities with proper error handling and retry logic.
  • Support PDF generation and document automation when needed.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with internal and vendor teams.
  • Write clear technical documentation and communicate progress effectively.

Technical Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI (required).
  • Proven experience in REST API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal preferred, Airflow/Prefect acceptable).
  • Experience consuming and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Solid understanding of authentication, error handling, and rate limiting.
  • Experience with PDF generation tools such as ReportLab or WeasyPrint (nice-to-have).
  • Knowledge of healthcare data handling and HIPAA principles is a plus.

Preferred Qualities

  • Self-sufficient and proactive in solving technical issues.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills for complex API integrations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in distributed teams with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience with healthcare or lab vendor APIs is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70, Php100,000.00 per month
