Key Responsibilities:Credit Management

  • Evaluate and verify the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
  • Maintain and update credit files and customer records.
  • Ensure that all credit transactions comply with company policies and terms.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Department to assess customer payment behavior and manage credit risks.

Collection Activities

  • Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Send billing statements, reminders, and collection letters to clients.
  • Communicate with customers regarding payment status, discrepancies, and collection concerns.
  • Negotiate and arrange payment plans or settlements when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Accounting Departments regarding collection issues, credit notes, or billing adjustments.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare periodic reports on collection performance, aging of receivables, and delinquent accounts.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
  • Support external and internal audit requirements by providing needed documentation.
  • Analyze collection trends and recommend improvements to credit and collection processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferably with 1–3 years of experience in credit and collection, billing, or accounts receivable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
