Personal Finance Officer

The team is looking for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized — with strong skills in payroll processing, bookkeeping, and handling government contributions. We value someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy in all financial records while supporting the finance team's day-to-day operations.
What type of work will you be doing? What skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- General Accounting and Bookkeeping:
○ Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
○ Prepare journal entries and update ledgers.
○ Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
○ Assist in the preparation of financial reports and tax filings. - Payroll and Government Contributions:
○ Process and compute employee salaries accurately and on schedule.
○ Prepare payroll-related reports, payslips, and remittances.
○ Monitor and ensure timely remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions. - Cash and Bank Transactions:
○ Perform regular bank errands such as deposits, withdrawals, and payment processing.
○ Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of bank transactions. - Accounts Payable:
○ Monitor and process payments to suppliers and service providers.
○ Ensure that all payables are settled on or before their due dates.
○ Maintain records of purchases and disbursements. - Accounts Receivable:
○ Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding collections.
○ Issue billing statements and official receipts.
○ Ensure timely posting of collections to the books. - Other Tasks:
○ Maintain proper filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
○ Support audit, compliance, and internal control activities.
○ Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum qualifications:
- Education - Graduate Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management Accounting;
- Ability to maintain computerized bookkeeping records
- Good oral and written communication skills (and has leadership potentials)
- Must be experienced in using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledgeable in Financial Modeling
- Should be able to travel to run errands outside the office.
