About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Banking and Finance Officer to oversee financial activities in support of our lending operations. The role involves handling day-to-day banking transactions, monitoring multiple bank accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation, and providing financial oversight to maintain smooth loan releases and collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and reconcile multiple bank accounts used for loan disbursements, collections, and operational expenses.
  • Handle daily banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and loan releases.
  • Prepare and update financial reports, cash flow summaries, and reconciliation schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Collection and Legal teams to ensure accurate posting of client payments and settlements.
  • Manage fund allocations to ensure sufficient balances for loan disbursements and company operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and banking regulations.
  • Provide management with timely financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking, finance, or lending industry.
  • Strong knowledge of bank account management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/finance systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
