Job Summary:

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company's real estate and property management business. This role focuses on reconciliations, monitoring of payables, receivables, and post-dated checks (PDCs), while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and tax compliance. The position requires close coordination with the Sales and Operations teams to support business transactions and overall financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to property sales, leasing, and collections.
  • Manage and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and PDCs, including payments from tenants, buyers, and brokers.
  • Coordinate closely with the Sales and Operations departments to align on billing, collection, and payment schedules for projects and properties.
  • Act as the main liaison of the Finance team for financial reporting and tax compliance, ensuring timely submission of reports and filings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other management reports for review.
  • Support BIR and LGU compliance related to real estate transactions, including VAT, withholding taxes, and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in cash flow management and budget monitoring for property operations and development projects.
  • Collaborate with auditors and external consultants for year-end audits and compliance reviews.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements in financial operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance operations, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong background in financial operations (preferred over audit/reporting).
  • Knowledgeable in real estate accounting processes, such as collection schedules, property billing, and tenant ledger management.
  • Familiar with tax compliance and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
