The Billing Management Officer (Civil Engineer) provides cost-control services for the assigned projects. Their role entails reviewing payments to Contractors, ensuring adherence to the provisions outlined in the contract, and to the Company Policies and Guidelines.

What you'll do:

  • Evaluates and reviews the accomplishments certified by the Construction Management Group for the assigned projects, related to the submitted billings of the Contractor.
  • Closely coordinates with the Construction Management Group as necessary to ensure billing requirements align with the contract, offering informed suggestions to resolve cost-related issues and concerns.
  • Ensures that the determination of the contractor's claims, variations, advance payments, and progress billing applications, before processing the payment request, aligns with the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.
  • Ensures that all payments made to the contractors are captured and properly recorded.
  • Prepares weekly reports on costs and other relevant cost-related reports needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc project-related tasks as instructed by the Contracts and Compliance Officer and/or Immediate Superior.
  • Conducts site visits as necessary.

What we're looking for:

  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering from a reputable college/university
  • Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage
  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience in commercial, billing management, or as a cost engineer and/or quantity surveyor
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction projects in the real estate industry
  • An independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet turnaround time
  • Strong work ethic and commitment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with the team
  • Amenable to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
