Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement team. The role includes sourcing suppliers, managing orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. You should be organized, proactive, and able to handle supplier issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers in line with company requirements to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Create and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis; maintain accurate procurement records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support inventory management and meet operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative support role (6 months to 1-year preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage
- Ability to analyze supplier data and resolve procurement issues efficiently
- Understanding of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory control
Job Type: Full-time
