Business Intelligence Developer (Remote – Philippines-Based)

Location: Remote (Philippines)

Work Schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Philippine Time)

Reports to: Technology Platform Developer

Salary Range: PHP 70,000 – 80,000 per month

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join a growing technology team. This role focuses on migrating an enterprise data warehouse to Google BigQuery and Google DataFlow (Apache Beam) while supporting ongoing business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in transforming complex data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate existing data warehouse and ETL processes to Google BigQuery and Google DataFlow (Apache Beam).
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to define BI requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, integration, and performance.
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Research and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance BI capabilities.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using Git, JIRA, and related tools.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in Google BigQuery and Google DataFlow / Apache Beam.
  • Experience migrating star schema data warehouses and legacy ETL systems.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI platforms.
  • Skilled in data extraction, analysis, validation, and assurance.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile collaboration tools (Git, JIRA, Atlassian).
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
